Prostate massage

Definition
Prostate massage is the gentle and targeted stimulation of a man’s prostate, usually via the anus, with the aim of relaxation, increased arousal, or a deeper sexual sensation. It does not necessarily lead to ejaculation or “milking,” but is about feeling and contact.

Explanation of prostate massage

Prostate massage is often seen as the gentler, more relaxed counterpart to prostate milking. Whereas milking focuses on rhythm and release, massage is about discovering sensations, opening up the body, and stimulating an area that can give many men intense pleasure.

The prostate is located a few centimeters behind the anus, towards the navel. When gently pressed, it feels like a smooth, round bulge. Prostate massage can be performed with fingers, specially designed toys, or special massage sticks.

Intense orgasm

Many men experience the sensation as warm, deep, pulsating, or tingling. Sometimes it slowly builds up to an intense orgasm that feels different from an orgasm through the penis: slower, deeper, and more from the pelvis. For others, it has a relaxing or calming effect, without direct sexual tension.

Within BDSM, prostate massage can be a form of control, care, or surrender. A Dominant who massages the prostate literally has direct influence on the most sensitive internal point of the man. This can feel both tender and very dominant, depending on the dynamic.

Prostate massage can also be a stepping stone to more intense forms of play, such as pegging, edging, or prostate milking. But it can just as easily be a standalone experience that focuses primarily on the body, breath, and connection.

Safety & points of attention

Work with gloves, clean equipment, and sufficient lubricant. The anus is not self-lubricating; dryness can cause pain and damage.

The first touches should be gentle and exploratory. Pay attention to your nails. Even the smallest sharp edge can irritate or tear the mucous membrane.

Pressure may be sensitive, but never sharp or painful. A relaxed pelvic floor makes the massage more pleasant and safer.

Do not massage if you have any complaints. Do not play if you have a fever, pain when urinating, blood in your semen, or suspected prostate inflammation.

Only use toys with a wide base. Anything that goes inside must remain securely in place.

Be careful with vibrators. Too intense vibrations can cause overstimulation.

After a deep massage, the prostate may feel a little sensitive or warm; this is normal.
