Definition
An orgasm is the physical and emotional release that occurs when sexual tension reaches a peak. It is accompanied by muscle contractions, deep relaxation, and a brief but intense feeling of pleasure. Within BDSM, an orgasm often has a ritual or hierarchical value, as it is directly influenced by the Dominant.
Explanation of orgasm
An orgasm is more than a physical reflex. It is a combination of tension, desire, stimulation, emotion, and mental surrender. When the build-up lasts long enough, the familiar “point of no return” occurs: the body automatically chooses to let go.
In BDSM, an orgasm is rarely something neutral. It becomes part of the dynamic because it:
- can be given as a reward
- can be denied to deepen desire
- can be enforced to confirm power
- is controlled as training or part of submission
For submissives, an orgasm can be very intense when it happens under the supervision of the Dominant. The knowledge that you do not decide for yourself, but must follow, makes the experience deeper and often emotionally charged.
