Explanation of clit torture

Clit torture falls under genital stimulation and genital pain play. The clitoris is an extremely sensitive organ, rich in nerve endings, and therefore particularly suitable for both pleasure and pain stimuli. Within BDSM, this sensitivity is deliberately exploited to evoke intense sensations, which can range from mildly stimulating to extremely painful.

Commonly used methods include applying clamps (similar to nipple clamps), pulling or squeezing by hand, using rope in bondage, or electrical stimulation via, for example, a violet wand or e-stim equipment. Ice, heat, or vibrations can also be part of clit torture, whether or not combined with restrictions such as a spreader bar or tied legs.

Pleasure and pain

For some submissives, clit torture is a way to explore the boundaries between pleasure and pain, where the game can lead to ecstasy, tears, or deep emotional release. For others, it has a humiliating or controlling character: the organ often associated with female pleasure is now placed in the hands of the Dominant, who decides how, when, and with what intensity it is played with or hurt.

Because the clitoris is extremely sensitive, clit torture belongs to the category of edge play: it can be very intense, both physically and mentally.

Safety & points of attention

Use clean tools and disinfect clamps or devices.

Always start gently and slowly increase the intensity to prevent damage to nerves or tissue.

The clitoris is very sensitive; prolonged or excessive pressure can cause swelling, bruising, or permanent loss of sensitivity.
