Penis sheath
Definition
A penis sheath is a covering worn over the penis; historically, it has been used in various cultures as protection, decoration, or a ritual object, and in a modern context, it is sometimes used as an aid in sexual activity or fetish play.

Explanation of the penis sheath
The penis sheath is neither a modern invention nor a typical BDSM object. In fact, its origins lie far beyond the sexual subcultures as we know them today. In various parts of the world, particularly in regions such as Papua New Guinea, penis sheaths were and are worn as part of everyday attire or ritual traditions.
Within these tribes, the penis sheath served various functions. Sometimes it simply served as protection or a covering for the penis. In other cases, it held social or symbolic significance. The shape, size, or decoration could indicate status, adulthood, or a role within the community. It was therefore not a sexual object in the sense we often interpret it, but rather a cultural artifact with its own layer of meaning.
What you sometimes see is that people confuse the penis sheath with other devices, such as a chastity cage or certain forms of penis restriction. But technically and functionally, these are truly different objects, with a different purpose and a different experience.
