Glove
Definition
A bondage glove, also known as an armbinder, is a tight-fitting leather or latex arm sack in which both arms of the submissive are secured, usually behind the back. It is a form of restrictive bondage intended to completely restrict freedom of movement and enhance feelings of surrender, powerlessness, and submission.

Explanation of gloves
Gloves are a classic and visually powerful tool in BDSM. The submissive slides both arms into a single sleeve made of leather, latex, or canvas, which is then tightly fastened with buckles or laces. This presses the arms tightly together, often up to the elbows or even the shoulders. Some variants have additional straps across the shoulders or chest to prevent the glove from slipping or shifting.
The posture this creates is both physically and mentally intense. The body automatically opens up – chest forward, shoulders back – giving the sub a vulnerable, proud, and almost ceremonial appearance. Many Mistresses describe this moment as a form of silent discipline: the sub can no longer do anything, hide anything, only breathe and experience.
There are different types:
Single glove / monoglove – one joint pocket in which both arms disappear.
Double glove – two separate sleeves, often connected to a chest or back harness.
Full body armbinder – a variant that partially encloses the shoulders, chest, and torso for maximum fixation.
The bondage glove is loved for its aesthetic power: tight leather against skin, the symmetry of the arms, and the contrast between power and surrender. The image evokes not only eroticism, but also discipline and beauty in restraint.
Safety & points of attention
Wearing a bondage glove is physically demanding and requires close supervision by the Dominant.
Check blood circulation in the hands and fingers regularly; they should not become cold or blue.
Limit the wearing time to a maximum of 15 to 20 minutes with a tight fixation, unless there is experience and good observation.
Avoid an overly straight shoulder position; a slight bend prevents overloading of the shoulder joints.
Never leave the sub tied up in an arm binder alone, even for a short time.
Keep safety equipment handy, such as scissors or a quick release.
When used correctly, the bondage glove can evoke an intense and even meditative moment of surrender. The sub learns to trust, breathe, and remain present in total immobility – an exercise in control and letting go at the same time.
