Findom

Definition
Findom is short for Financial Domination. It is a form of BDSM in which the submissive transfers their money, possessions, or financial control to a dominant woman (the Mistress), who can exchange this for power, instructions, or attention. The act revolves around power, control, and emotional experience – not just money.

Explanation of Findom

Findom occupies a special place in the world of BDSM. While many forms of dominance are physical or psychological, financial dominance revolves around power through money: a tangible symbol of dependence, surrender, and trust. For the submissive, giving up money is not just a financial act, but an emotional ritual – a sign of devotion, tribute, and submission.

A Findomme (Female Financial Dominant) uses this dynamic not to exploit the sub, but to guide their surrender within clear, ethical boundaries. In the sub’s experience, she represents the ultimate authority: she decides what he can give, when, and why. That power has a profound effect on a mental level. By “paying to serve,” the sub often experiences intense feelings of humility, shame, pride, and relief.

Fetish

The motivation behind Findom varies from person to person. Some subs experience it as a fetish in itself—they get excited by the idea of being financially “used” by a woman who mentally transcends them. Others see it as a form of reward, respect, or contribution to the power of their Mistress. There are also paypigs or cash slaves who explicitly desire financial control: their account, salary, or purchases are then (partially) managed by the Mistress.

Although it often happens online, Findom also exists within long-term D/s relationships. There, it takes on a broader meaning: it is not only a game, but also a symbol of trust. The sub learns to let go, the Mistress learns to use power responsibly. In loving Femdom, that is the essence – receiving power, but never abusing it.

Safety & points of attention

Findom is only healthy if there is mutual consent, honesty, and boundaries. It can quickly get out of hand when trust or dependence is abused.

Agree on clear limits: a maximum amount, frequency, and purpose of payments.

Keep communication open and transparent; any form of financial transfer must remain voluntary.

A true Mistress respects her sub’s financial capacity and never encourages irresponsible behavior.

Be alert to scammers: fake profiles that pose as Findommes but are only after money.

Professional and honest Mistresses distinguish themselves through their care. They know that financial domination is not about sucking someone dry, but about channeling energy, desire, and symbolic power.

Self-knowledge is also important for subs. Ask yourself why financial surrender excites you—is it loss of control, guilt, worship, or a desire for validation? Those who understand this can play safer and deeper without losing themselves.
