High heels are shoes with a raised heel that visually lengthen the body and enhance a certain posture or appearance, often used in BDSM as a symbol of female dominance, elegance, and power.
Explanation of high heels
High heels have iconic status within the BDSM world. They are worn not only for their aesthetic effect, but also to emphasize the dynamic between Dominant and sub. High heels change the body posture the legs appear longer, the hips move differently, the back curves slightly – giving the body a more powerful, confident, and often seductive appearance. Although high heels are visually powerful, it is important to remain aware of the physical strain they cause. Prolonged wear can lead to back, ankle, or foot problems. During active sessions involving movement, standing, or walking, it is wise to choose stable heels with a sturdy sole.
When high heels are used as an instrument (for example, in trampling or symbolic touching), pressure points, balance, and safety must always be taken into account. It is not recommended to put weight on the sub’s body with stiletto heels; this can lead to bruising or perforation of the skin.
