Heteroflexible
Definition
Heteroflexible refers to someone who is basically heterosexual but, under certain circumstances, is also open to sexual or sensual experiences with people of the same sex.

Explanation of heteroflexible
Heteroflexibility is relatively common within the BDSM world, mainly because experience, power, pain, and surrender are not always strictly gender-bound. A heteroflexible person may continue to feel emotionally and sexually attracted to the opposite sex, but in a specific setting – for example, under the influence of trust, curiosity, or an intense D/s dynamic – may still be open to experimentation outside traditional heterosexual boundaries.
For example: a male sub who is usually only attracted to women, but during a session with the consent of his Mistress performs an act with another male sub. Or a female sub who allows herself to be touched by another woman in a context of submission, without this fundamentally changing her orientation.
Heteroflexibility is therefore not about identity, but about experience, openness, and context. In the BDSM context, this attitude is often a sign of self-knowledge and playfulness. The focus is not on labels, but on what feels safe, respectful, and liberating within the agreements that have been made.
Safety & points of attention
Because heteroflexible experiences sometimes take place outside someone’s usual sexual comfort zone, clear communication is essential.
Always discuss in advance which forms of interaction are desired or permitted, and which are not. Even in situations where curiosity or excitement prevail, mutual consent remains the basis.
Take hygiene and emotional safety into account, especially when new forms of physical contact take place.
