Anolinctus – Anolingus
Definition
Anolinctus or anolingus is a sexual act in which the anus is orally stimulated with the tongue and mouth. Colloquially, this is also referred to as ass licking, rimming, or rim job. Within BDSM, anolingus can be both an intimate, caring act and part of power dynamics, humiliation, or servitude.

Explanation of anolinctus – anolingus
Anolinctus essentially revolves around oral stimulation of a highly sensitive area. The anus contains many nerve endings, which means that contact with the tongue and lips can be experienced intensely. In a BDSM context, this act often takes on an additional meaning. It can be a reward, an intimate form of surrender, but also a command that symbolizes submission, servitude, or humiliation.
For some submissives, anolingus feels deeply connecting and vulnerable. For others, the mental aspect is dominant: the idea that they are opening themselves up completely or literally “serving.” For the Dominant, giving or having anolinctus performed can be a powerful affirmation of trust, control, and intimacy.
It is important to note that anolinctus does not automatically have to be sexual in the classical sense. Within Femdom and other D/s dynamics, it is sometimes deliberately disconnected from genital stimulation and placed more in a ritual, caring, or psychological context. The meaning always arises within the context of the dynamics and the agreements made in advance.
Safety & points of attention
Because the anus is an area where bacteria are present, anilingus requires extra attention to hygiene. Proper cleaning beforehand is essential, for example by washing carefully and possibly using an anal douche.
Oral health also plays a role: cuts or inflamed gums increase the risk of infection.
The use of a dental dam or special latex sheet can offer protection, especially with new partners or in a commercial setting. This is sometimes perceived as less sensual, but safety always outweighs experience.
In addition, consent is crucial. Anolinctus can be emotionally charged for some people. Shame, boundaries, and previous experiences often play a role. It is therefore important that this act is explicitly discussed during an intake or preliminary interview and is not taken for granted.
